Carrot & Capsicum Rice

This is a quick lunch box recipe. The combination of carrot and capsicum gives a wonderful flavour. For sure kids will love this colourful rice.

Ingredients :

1. Cooked Basmati Rice - 3 Cups
2. Carrot - 1 Cup (Grated)
3. Capsicum - 1/2 Cup (Chopped)
4. Onion - 1/2 Cup (Chopped)
5. Ginger-Garlic Paste - 1/2 tsp
6. Soya Sauce - 1 tsp
7. Tomato Sauce - 1 tsp
8. Chilly Sauce - 1/4 tsp or Adjust to your taste
9. Salt - Needed Qty
10. Oil - 1 tbsp



Procedure :

1. Take oil in a pan. Add ginger-garlic paste. Then add onion and saute till the raw smell of the ginger-garlic paste is gone.

2. Now add carrot and capsicum. Saute for few minutes.

3. Add all the three sauces and salt. Mix well.

4. Medium the flame and cover the pan with lid.

5. After 5 minutes,add rice and mix completely with the ingredients in the pan.

6. Switch off the stove.

7. Serve hot with chips.
