Spinach and Peas Pulav

This is a healthy rice. This is so delicious with the addition of spinach and peas. 


Ingredients :


1. Rice - 2 Cups
2. Spinach - 2 Cups(Chopped)
3. Peas - 1/2 Cup (Fresh/Frozen)
4. Onion - 1 Medium
5. Ginger - 2 inch piece
6. Garlic - 10 cloves
7. Green Chilly - 3 (More or less,according to your taste)
8. Bay leaf - Small qty
9. Clove - 4
10. Cardamom - 4
11. Garam Masala - 1 tsp
12. Oil - 2 tbs
13. Salt - Needed qty

Procedure :

1. Chop spinach, onion, ginger, chillies and garlic. Keep aside.

2. In a pan, add oil. Now, add bayleaf, clove and cardamom.

3. Add chopped ginger, garlic and chillies and fry for some time.

4. Now, add peas and spinach. Fry well and now add salt and garam masala.

5. Wash rice and mix with the above ingredients.

6. Put it in rice cooker with enough water.

7. Once cooking is done, granish with coriander leaf.

8. Serve hot with onion Raitha and Chips.
