Whole Green Moong Ragi Idiyappam

It's high time I posted Ragi idiyappam variety and here I'm with a healthy variation of Ragi Idiyappam. This is a best food suitable for all age group of people. I have already given the procedure for making Ragi Idiyappam here.

Ingredients :

1. Ragi Idiyappam (broken) - 3 Cups
2. Whole Green Moong Dhal - 1 Cup (Soaked and cooked with a pinch of salt)
3. Onion - 1/2 Cup (Chopped)
4. Red Chilly - 3 or adjust to your taste
5. Mustard - 1 tsp
6. Oil - 1/2 tbs
7. Coconut - 1 tbs (Optional)
8. Salt - Needed qty
9. Curry Leaf - Few




Procedure :

1. In a pan, add oil. Pop mustard. Then add the red chillies. Fry for few seconds.

2. Now, add the chopped onion. Fry till it turns to golden brown.

3. Add the cooked whole green moong dhal. Mix well.

4. Now, switch off the stove. Add the broken Idiyappam.

5. Add salt and coconut. Mix completely.

6. Garnish with curry leaf.

7. Serve immediately or later.
