Rice Porridge / Arisi Kanji

Rice porridge is the second food that we introduced to our Lil "S". She absolutely loved the taste. We didn't add salt or sugar to the porridge.

Ingredients :

1. Parboiled Rice
2. Water

Procedure :

1. Wash and set rice to drain.
2. Dry under shade and then dry roast the rice.
3. Grind to a fine powder.
4. In a suacepan, take rice powder with double the quantity of water.
5. Bring to boil. Stir constantly.
6. Cook on medium flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
7. Dilute with extra water if the porridge is too thick.

Note :
1. You can add either pureed vegetable or fruit to give a variation in taste and make it more healthy.
2. If you want, you can add salt or sugar.
